My name is Daria, aka The Discovery Nut

I’m happy that you landed on my page and I really appreciate the fact that you took some time out of your busy day to read my blog! 

I also hope we can become good friends, so here’s a little bit about me. 

I’m an adventurer at heart. 

No day goes by for me without planning my next adevnture and I have a tough time staying in one place for a while. I’m one of those people who think about where they are going to next before they are doing with their current trip. 

Many bloggers like to talk about how many countries they have visited and how many cool adventures they have crossed off their bucket list.

I’m not here to do that. This blog is all about inspiring you to to discover more and helping you to figure out your next epic destination. 

I started the Discovery Nut to encourage travelers like you to get out and explore more whether it’s your own backyard or a new destination. I think too may people stay in their comfort zone even during their travel and it’s not a way to grow as a person or as a traveler.

I believe travel should be all about broadening your horizons (sounds super cliche, I know) and doing things that seem scary or impossible. 

And in my blog, I encourage you to ditch any stereotypes you might have about a specific country (or place), leave your preconceived notions at home and plan your next epic adventure with an open mind. 

On my blog you will find advice on cool scenic destinations, less explored places and travel guides to cool spots that will help you to learn culture and explore more.
