Although Alfonsina opened just recently, it already became popular and has a loyal following among many travelers.

Alfonsina is famous for its yummy croissants, it has many other popular items on the menu like a quinoa bowl, and a variety of smoothies. Customers love Alfonsina’s bread and pastries made from the fresh ingredients.

A hidden gem, Aroma Cafe is one of the best breakfast places in Tulum if you want to avoid crowds and enjoy the attention of the staff in a cozy setting.

While this place may not get as busy as some of the most popular breakfast spots, the food options here are just as good.

If you prefer a more quiet atmosphere, give it a try! Just don’t forget to rent a bike or scooter to get here, since it’s a bit further away from downtown Tulum. Another option is to rent an ATV.

Botanica is one of the most popular casual cafes in Tulum that offers plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.

La Botanica has a lot of vegetarian 🌱 and vegan options on the menu. It’s also one of the most beautiful pet-friendly restaurants in Tulum where you can come with your pet 🐕 or spend time working remotely.

La Vegan Taqueria is a cozy little spot that offers some of the best breakfast tacos in Tulum with plenty of incredible flavors like rajas poblanos, campechano, mole and chorizo con papas. Their food is authentic and rich and prices are pretty reasonable for Tulum.

Make sure to try their Jamaica hibiscus flower topping!

All tacos come with sauces and rice and beans on the side. Unlike other popular breakfast joints in Tulum, this little spot is more on a quiet side, and you never have to wait in line to get a table.

Even if you are a non-vegan, you will love La Vegan Taqueria, because their faux meats including chorizo soy and chicharron taste like real ones!

A top spot to grab a vegan breakfast, Vivo is a new favorite among travelers. The restaurant boasts gorgeous rustic decors and prides itself on healthy options made in-house from scratch.

Some of the most popular options on the menu are pasta, crepes, smoothies, and salads made with pecans, pineapple, strawberries, and mouthwatering salt dressing.

Whether you are a vegan or vegetarian, or just care to eat healthy, this new restaurant in Tulum is a must-try! I visited this restaurant a couple of times, and loved their food!

BEST TULUM BREAKFAST IN ALDEA ZAMA

Rossina is one of the best breakfast places in Tulum that offers delicious smoothies, pastries and a mix of Mexican and Western dishes.

Rossina is one of the most popular places for breakfast in Tulum that has two locations:

One in Tulum Centro (aka downtown Tulum) and another one in Aldea Zama. This cafe is open daily from 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and has recently added dinner hours.

Located in Aldea Zama, Bruna is a Tulum favorite that boasts some of the best coffee in town. Guests leave great reviews for their lattes, horchatas, and in-house-made cookies.

Whether you are looking for a yummy breakfast or a hearty lunch, you can’t miss Fit a Licious.

They offer coffee, juices, delicious fruit smoothies, pancakes and waffles, and popular Mexican staples like chilaquiles and burritos. The staff offers superb service and goes above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing experience.

The restaurant is located in Aldea Zama, and you can quickly reach it from downtown Tulum or Tulum Hotel Zone.

One of the best farm-to-table restaurants along the beach, The Real Coconut offers plant-based, gluten-free dishes all of which are cooked with avocado oil.

The main focus of this place is breakfast, but there’s no wrong time to enjoy their meals.

Whether you want to try delicious pancakes, tacos, healthy bowls, or sip on one of their yummy cocktails while enjoying the postcard views of the Caribbean, this place is a real treat.

Visitors love the friendly service and minimalist, casual atmosphere. Finish your meal with the decadent Cookies’n’Cream Shake for a grand finale!

Potheads is one of my favorite places for brunch in Tulum near the beach that offers delicious options like smoothies, pancakes, muffins and avocado toasts. Their breakfast potatoes are to die for!

Potheads boasts a nice, laid-back vibe, and plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and even dinner.Try their acai mermaid bowl, or sweet and slaty waffles, they are too good to miss.
