1. The Hummus House
The Hummus House is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. Located just off Sunrise Boulevard, this hidden gem has vegan and vegetarian choices, a blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines.

Some of the options are hummus bowls, which come with pita bread and a side of schug (spicy sauce), Israeli pickles, and red cabbage salad; pita pockets and wraps; and platters including shawarma platter, Jerusalem platter, and salads and appetizers including tabbouleh salad, Moroccan spring roll, and Israeli salad.
And don’t forget to try their delicious frozen mint ginger lemonade, which is made in-house from fresh ingredients. Grab your food and enjoy the view of the canal from the deck behind the restaurant.

2. SoBe Vegan
One of the most popular Fort Lauderdale vegan restaurants, SoBe is a go-to place for many plant-based eaters who come to town. This casual cafe with cute designs offers delicious comfort food and has a nice low-key vibe to it.
SoBe serves an all-day brunch, as well as a variety of bowls, flatbreads, and main staples like BBQ jackfruit wrap, SoBe V burger, Queso burger, crispy mushroom sandwich, and chickpea tuna. Their photogenic smoothies and vegan ice cream make for a perfect refresher on a hot sunny day.
The restaurant is located around the corner from Fort Lauderdale Beach, so it’s a perfect spot to grab a bite after catching some sun and swimming or snorkeling in the clear waters.

3. Planta Queen
Located along Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Planta Queen is a popular fine dining restaurant that has a 100-percent plant-based menu.
Planta’s dishes are influenced by Asian cuisines, and their menu features options like Singapore noodles, sushi rolls, nigiri, and an assortment of dumplings like spinach shiitake dumplings, sweet corn dumplings, and potato truffle dumplings.
The menu also has several gluten-free options like vegan sushi and most of its “chilled and raw” items. I recommend trying their truffle fried rice with shaved black truffle, mushroom bacon, peas, and egg.
The drink menu features several specialty lattes and refreshing drinks like oolong passion fruit iced tea and hibiscus iced tea.
Keep in mind that Planta gets busy on weekends, so it’s a good idea to make a reservation ahead of time!
If you need parking, head to East Las Olas Boulevard, or several parking lots which are southeast of the restaurant. All public parking near Las Olas Boulevard is metered, and you can pay with your credit card by the hour.

4. Holi Vegan Kitchen
Holi Vegan is a great casual vegan restaurant that has two locations in the Fort Lauderdale area: one in Hallandale Beach, about 15 minutes south of downtown Fort Lauderdale and another one in North Miami.
This restaurant has wraps, burgers, pizzas, and pasta, bowls and tasty treats like smoothies, bowls, and desserts.
You have to try their pesto scramble that comes with tofu, yellow and green onions, tomatoes, cremini mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese – it’s delicious! Another popular item is tempeh and mushrooms quesadilla, and a warm Tex-Mex bowl.
And don’t miss out on their desserts – Holi Vegan has its bakery, where they make pastries like bananar bread, cookies and pastries like their signature tiramisu.
Besides an extensive menu, where you can find options for breakfast, brunch, and dinner, Holi Vegan also boasts gorgeous decorations with plenty of greenery and cool designs, so if you care about aesthetics, you have to visit this place!

5. Goji Juicery and Kitchen
Goji is a new addition to the Fort Lauderdale plant-based scene located off Federal Highway. It offers an assortment of acai bowls, and healthy salads with greens like cucumbers, carrots, red cabbage, red peppers, sesame seeds, cashews, and cilantro with a signature peanut dressing.
Their wraps and grain bowls are perfect to satisfy your hunger if you need a quick brunch. They come with a variety of veggies like brown rice, carrots, red cabbage, onion, brown rice, carrots, red cabbage, onions, and edamame.
Other items on the menu include smoothies, cold-pressed juices made in-house, and vegan desserts like Artisan Sweet Vanilla Muffin with Guava, Vegan Red Velvet Cookie, and vegan chocolate chip cookie.
Their plant-based energy shots include ginger and lemon spice shot.

6. PS Green Vegan Express
PS Green Vegan Express is a perfect spot for a vegan breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant is located at the corner of Oakland Park Blvd and Federal Hwy. in Fort Lauderdale and offers delivery and take-out.
Their menu includes sandwiches, bowls, wraps, and burgers as well as smoothies and juices.

C4Eats is a popular vegan eatery in downtown Hollywood that bills itself as “comfort food without guilt.” Their menu features tons of yummy plant-based items like fluffy pancakes, waffles, and vegan chicken, a blow-up breakfast that consists of apple sausage, bacon scrambled veggies and homestyle potatoes.
Or how about a vegan pancake breakfast?
For brunch, try their mouthwatering chickpea tuna, turk’y burger, or shrimp and grits. Dinner options on the C4Eats menu include fried chicken dinner that comes with fried chicken, brown rice mac ’n cheese, and candied yams or citrus rib bowl with brown rice and broccoli.

8. Stephanie’s Vegan Bakery
If you are in the mood for vegan baked goodies, go to Stephanie’s Vegan Bakery. This small cafe offers freshly basked treats like a chocolate croissant, vanilla bean cupcake, dulce de leche cheesecake, and a variety of sweet bread.
Stephanie’s menu also has homemade soups like a chili soup bowl, vegetable soup bowl, arugula and avocado toast, and several types of quesadillas.
One of the most popular items on the menu is a rice bowl made with jasmine rice, black beans, mixed cheese, roasted corn, pico de gallo, guacamole, and cilantro garlic sauce – yum!
Their empanadas and breakfast bagels are must-tries!

9. The Krazy Vegan
The Krazy Vegan in Hallandale Beach is a new popular vegan restaurant in the Fort Lauderdale area that’s quickly becoming everyone’s favorite. Their menu consists of mainly comfort vegan food with options like burgers, tacos and quesadillas, and Krazy nuggets.
The popular Krazy Kowboy burger comes with a plant-based patty, vegan bacon, vegan cheese, BBQ sauce, and our signature Krazy Sauce on a brioche bun; Vegan shrimp tacos, and Krazy quesadilla are two other popular staples.
And they also have some cookies including chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and macadamia nut. I loved their strawberry lemonade!

10. The Rabbit Hole
Located in Pompano Beach, the Rabbit Hole offers plant-based southern comfort cuisine bursting with some of the most incredible falvors you’ve ever tried!
Popular menu items like the Smoke in the Woods platter, the Spring Ting platter, creamy Mac and Cheese, crunchy chicken wings grilled to perfection and tender vegan ribs.
If you want a yummy dessert, make sure to order their vegan cheesecake!
The Rabbit Hole makes a perfect stop if you are feeling hungry after spending time at the beach and want something filling. The staff is friendly and welcoming and is ready to answer any questions you have. The place gets consistently good reviews, and once you stop by, you will see why 🙂

11. Sarpino’s Pizzeria Fort Lauderdale
Although Sarpino’s is not totally vegan, it offers amazing plant-based options in a separate vegan menu that are above an beyond any other pizzeria in town!
If you are a pizza lover, you will love this place: Sarpino’s offers vegan Mediterranean, vegan Basiliko, Italiano, vegan classic and vegan artichoke pizza. They also have delicious vegan calzones, vegan antipasto salad, vegan spinach and greek salad.
Pasta options at Sarpino’s include vegan fettuccine, spaghetti, and mostaccioli. Top off your food with vegan bread sticks and you have a perfect meal!

The Whole Enchilada is a Florida chain of Mexican restaurants that has locations in Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach. The restaurant has marked vegan options on the menu.

Blue Tree is a locally owned vegan take-out-only restaurant located to the east of downtown Fort Lauderdale. All orders have to be placed online and you can choose from rasta pasta, cauliflower wings, and fries, turmeric fried rice, and Cali curry bowl, among other options.
